Executive and Personal Assistant Skills Intensive

One Day Workshop


Executive and Personal Assistants are involved in the day-to-day aspects of school operation. They work with the Principal, CFO, Curriculum Heads and Managers to ensure the school meet its strategic, operational and financial objectives.

This one day workshop is designed to create a forum for participants to share ideas, experiences and to network with colleagues working in a social environment. The day is highly interactive and draws on participant current knowledge and skills. Numbers are limited to no more than twenty.

  • Time management tips

Session 4:    Market Your Personal Brand

  • Image, positive language
  • Difficult conversations

Session 5:    Collaborative Problem-Solving

  • Strategies
  • Determine the root cause: 5 whys
  • Brainstorming: create radical ideas to solve problems

Session 6:    Crucial Teamwork Skills

  • Key components of effective teamwork
  • Team roles and performance measures
  • Establish a team charter

Session 7:    Action Points to take back to work with discussion plan
